These pieces are portraits of different females. Motivations for these drawings; Portraits have always been my favorite things to draw, so when I started to draw portraits, I started with using inspiration from other artists. Angel Ganev draws a lot of female portraits which have big eyes, and lips. I really enjoy that drawing style. Behind the scenes of the drawing, I really love drawing portraits, and especially female portraits because female faces are usually rounder, so there are fewer flat areas with subtle shadows. This makes it easy to shade and render the skin and blend without any hardships. Also the end result is somewhat more pleasing when drawing a female. Time: I believe I took about 1 hour to create each drawing. Materials; Derwent Graphite Pencils, and kneaded eraser, Tombow Eraser.
