Ferocious…

This artwork is based off of a beautiful Bengal tiger. I was motivated to draw this by an art contest, the Colored Pencil Magazine Monthly challenge, Wild Cat challenge. I always loved close to face portraits of tigers, so I attempted it. I spent over the course of 2-3 weeks making this. I used 150 set Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, a white pastel, and a Prismacolor colorless blender tool. I named this drawing Ferocious because of its fierce eyes, and strong, powerful look. This drawing won a High Merit award in the Celebrating Art contest, and got published in their Summer 2022 Anthology.
